Grades of Membership

  1. Fellows: Membership is opened to senior and experienced practitioners in the discipline of arbitration & ADR or peace & conflict management or general dispute resolution, etc. Such persons must have not less than 10 years of cognate experience and must have passed, or been exempted from, the IDRI examination for membership. He/She must also demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of arbitration and ADR, or peace & conflict management, or general dispute resolution management, and may be required to show evidence of relevant cases/matters handled as an arbitrator, or mediator, or conciliator, etc, but not as a legal counsel, or registrar, or as part of the duties carried out as a civil/public servant. A fellow is entitled to affix theinitials F.DRI after his/her name.
  2. Members: Members must have excellent knowledge, skills and experience in the discipline of arbitration & ADR, or peace & conflict management, or general dispute resolution, etc, and must have passed, or been exempted from, the IDRI examination for membership. A Member is entitled to affix the initials M.DRI after his/her name.
  3. Associates: Members must have good knowledge, skills and experience in arbitration & ADR, or peace & conflict management, or general dispute resolution, etc, and must have passed, or been exempted from, the IDRI examination for membership. A member is entitled to use the initials A.DRI after his/her name.
